'Midnight blues'

It’s probably no real surprise that I spend a lot of time painting at odd hours of the  day because, well, #mumlife. 
But there is something magical about sneaking off to the  studio late at night to paint. The serenity, the change of light and the chance to  admire the range of colour even in the darkness.  
Also, is anyone else slightly hydrangea obsessed at the moment?
